This full backyard renovation in Jurupa Valley was designed to transform an underutilized yard into a cohesive, resort-style outdoor living environment built for both everyday comfort and effortless entertaining.

At the center of the space is a custom pool and raised spa, finished with rich glass tile and clean, modern coping. The geometric layout creates strong architectural lines, while the elevated spa spillway introduces movement and sound, adding both visual and sensory appeal. Surrounded by a warm-toned paver deck, the entire design flows seamlessly from water to lounge to kitchen, creating intentional transitions throughout the yard.

The outdoor living zone was carefully integrated to feel like a natural extension of the home. A custom-built outdoor kitchen anchors the entertaining space, complete with a built-in BBQ, pizza oven, bar seating, and a centrally positioned fireplace beneath a modern lattice patio cover. The open-slat structure filters natural light throughout the day, casting architectural shadow lines while maintaining an open, airy feel that complements the Southern California climate.

To expand usable space, we constructed a separate solid patio cover off the residence, creating a shaded dining and lounge area with unobstructed views of the pool and spa. Planter walls define the perimeter and introduce depth and structure, while an artificial turf area provides low-maintenance greenery and flexible space for family use.

Every element of this Jurupa Valley backyard renovation was designed to work together. Clean lines, neutral materials, layered textures, and thoughtful sightlines from every angle. The result is a complete outdoor living environment that balances structure, comfort, and long-term durability
