Projects & Process
What is a typical project timeline?

Project timelines vary depending on the type and size of work involved. As a general guide:

  • Artificial grass and turf installations are typically completed in 1–3 days

  • Interlocking paver projects range from 3–7 days depending on scope

  • Full backyard remodels — combining turf, pavers, and outdoor living — are typically completed within approximately two months

  • Outdoor kitchens and BBQ islands vary based on complexity, material lead times, and permitting

Ecoworkz provides a clear project schedule before work begins so you know what to expect at every stage. For service-specific timelines, visit our Artificial Grass, Pavers, or Outdoor Living pages.

Permits are typically required for gas lines, electrical lines, patio covers, certain outdoor structures, and retaining walls over 3 feet tall. Most BBQ islands do not require a permit, while outdoor fireplaces usually do. Ecoworkz manages the permit process from start to finish and ensures all work meets local building codes and safety requirements, giving homeowners a stress-free experience.

Ecoworkz streamlines the HOA approval process by supplying the necessary documentation, detailed project blueprints, and material swatches for your application. Our team remain accessible during the entire review phase to provide clarification and respond to any board inquiries.

Once the project is finished, your project lead will walk you through the completed work, explain any care and maintenance steps specific to your installation, and confirm everything meets your expectations before the crew leaves.

You will receive documentation of your warranties, and our team remains available if you have any questions after completion. For artificial grass specifically, we also provide guidance on cleaning, brushing, and seasonal care to protect your investment long-term.

Warranties & Quality
Does Ecoworkz warranty their work?

Yes. Every Ecoworkz project is backed by both a manufacturer product warranty and an installation workmanship warranty.

  • Artificial grass products carry manufacturer warranties ranging from 8 to 15 years depending on the product selected

  • Our installation workmanship warranty covers the quality of the install itself — not just the material

This means if something is not right with how the work was done, we stand behind it. We put our name on every project we complete, and our warranties reflect that commitment. Details are provided in writing before your project begins.

Ecoworkz uses premium, professionally-grade materials sourced from established manufacturers not olow-cost alternatives that underperform in the Southern California climate.

For artificial grass, we select turf systems designed for long-term UV resistance, durability, and performance in high-heat environments. For pavers, we work with quality hardscape materials suited to SoCal soil conditions and freeze-thaw considerations. For outdoor living projects, we use materials that hold up to outdoor exposure without degrading prematurely.

Product options are reviewed with you during the consultation so you can select what fits your project goals, budget, and HOA requirements.
